Clock In

Clock-In is a peer-led productivity tool co-created with UAL students to support the shift from overwhelm to organised action. Addressing cycles of fatigue and procrastination that often lead to loss of focus, guilt, and burnout, Clock-In creates a shared space where students can begin tasks together, turning intention into action through collective accountability.

The Problem

The Student Wellbeing Crisis- Students juggling responsibilities struggle to prioritise and visualise their plans, making tasks feel overwhelming and intimidating.

My Takeways

This 8-week project brought together a multicultural team with diverse backgrounds, pushing me to critically examine not just what we were building, but how we were working together. It highlighted the gap between what I read throughout the project about collaboration and leadership, and how it actually unfolds in practice. Reflecting on this, I wrote an essay to develop my own evolving definition of design leadership for the future.
